In 2016 a most unfortunate trend was widely reported on across the nation. School districts across the nation have collectively lost their credibility to the American people. Your diploma is worthless, society is suffering, and this trend was manifesting itself as a terminal cancer on the fabric of our very neighborhoods. The founders of SMRT, being students themselves, could see the problem clearly. More importantly they saw the solution

 

     Ethics is gone in modern education. Plagiarism is rampant; even faculty and staff are just as guilty. They need a vested, interested party to watch over them. SMRT connects every major stakeholder to each other. Parents can see the school’s analytics, as well as the teachers that are in the classroom with their children. Students can communicate with their teachers and staff instantly, and the districts and schools can attain a stronger grip on the dynamic situation that is the modern school system. Finally, SMRT, the system itself, is there to ensure that every ounce of data is accurate, has fidelity, and is being acted upon in a timely manner.

Unlike other systems, SMRT is not committed to just one faction, but committed to the connecting of all the factions involved.      In early 2016 a single school district, in just a single line segment on their expense report, showed an absolute waste of $2.7 million in one academic school year in just technology. This is not just a single case. This happens repeatedly in every school district across the nation.      We are in 4 school districts in the DC metropolitan area, from Maryland to Northern Virginia. In five years every school district and private academy in Maryland and Virginia will value a SMRT certificate. In ten years, the success will encompass the entire east coast. By 2035, there is no reason why the coveted SMRT certificate should not be the gold standard of education, much as ISO 9000 is the standard in appliance safety. It is time, it has been time, tomorrow is gone, wasted, immutable. Tomorrow is ours! Tomorrow is possible. Tomorrow is going to be, not a little smarter, but a lot smarter!
